Transit Advertising Program
The Bobcat Tram provides afordable on-bus advertising for businesses to reach the student demographic in the San Marcos area. Advertising card racks are available on all Campus and Off-Campus buses; these route services provide over 2.5 million passenger rides per year.
Advertising rates provide pricing packages to reach customers for as little as two weeks or as long as one semester. Summer and fall bus-ad rates provide for free advertising during the summer for merchants who purchase fall semester ads on the entire fleet, (free summer advertising requires pre-payment by cash or check).
Student Organization Advertising
The Campus Activities & Student Organization (CASO), provides free advertising on the Bobcat Tram for student organizations, (these organizations pay for the cost of printing only). The objective of their advertising program is to provide information about events and organizations to students; these ads are guaranteed to run for two weeks.
