AUSTIN
INTERCITY SERVICE INFORMATION:
Full Service is open to the
general public and open any day that Texas
State University – San Marcos is open
for classes or final exams. Monday
through Friday service was opened to the general public in the fall of 2005;
service was expanded to San Antonio in the
fall of 2006 with several connections between Austin
and San Antonio
each day. A Limited Service Schedule will run during the Summer I and II
semesters; a modified Limited Service
Schedule B will run during
summer mini session; and, Minimum
Service Schedule will run during selected non-class days Monday through
Friday. If you have questions, please

Study Day or Dead Day (May 1, 2007):
Austin
intercity routes service will run routes 1, 4, 6, and 8, (This is our Limited Service Schedule B normally
reserved for Friday service
only).
Spring
Finals (May 2 - 8, 2007):
Austin route
service will run on normal schedule, (all 10 service routes), with the
exception of the last lay of finals, May 8th. The last day of finals is a Tuesday, but
will run on a Friday service schedule;
routes 1, 2, 4, 5, 6 8, and 9 will run on May 8th.
Summer Mini Session (May 14 – June 1,
2007):
Austin intercity
route service will run routes 1 4, 6, and 8 Monday through Friday. (This is our Limited Service Schedule B).
No service will run on May 28th.
Summer I & II
service (June 4 – August 9, 2007):
Austin
intercity route service will run Limited
Service Schedule during Summer I & II. This consists of routes 1, 4, 6, 8, and 9
Monday through Thursday; and routes 1, 4, 6, and 8, (our B Schedule) on Friday.
No service will run on July 4. Minimum
Service Schedule, (Route 1 and 8 only), will run on August 10, 13-17, and
20-21.
Fall Semester (August 22 –
December 11, 2007):
While there may be small adjustments to some of the exact pick-up times at
bus stops, (no more than 3-5 minutes), there will be no deletions to the Full Service fall schedule from the
spring 2007 schedule posted below, (The
only exception is a possible change in the stop location and time for Kyle). In fact, we are studying the possibility of
adding
up to two more routes to our Full
Service schedule for the Austin intercity route service between Austin
and San Marcos; this will not impact the times or days of service for
existing routes. Any additional
service times will be posted by early June, 2007.
There will be no service on September 3; November 21-23;
and December 24-26. We will run a Minimum
Service Schedule on December 12-14, 17-21, 27 and 28.
